PlateSpin

PlateSpin is a company that provides tools to help with server virtualization, including physical-to-virtual migrations and server workload management. 

PlateSpin, which is a subsidiary of Novell, Inc. provides tools that are compatible with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and Citrix XenServer. The PlateSpin family of products include:

PlateSpin Migrate - a software tool for physical-to-virtual and virtual-to-physical conversion. Formerly called PlateSpin PowerConvert.

PlateSpin Portability Suite - a software tool for automating the movement of server workloads over a network.

PlateSpin Forge - a disaster recovery hardware appliance.

PlateSpin Protect - a disaster recovery software tool.

PlateSpin Recon -  a virtualization planning tool for server consolidation.
