It's difficult to tell at this early stage how much impact XenServer will have on the market. Since it is a commercial effort by XenSource, there is the question of XenSource's ability to gain commercial acceptance for it in addition to the obvious question of its technical capabilities. The XenServer product family does have some technical capabilities above and beyond the standard Xen included in Linux distros; only time will tell if those technical capabilities are significant enough to enable XenSource to generate market acceptance.
