The VMworld Roadside Stop, in the basement of the Moscone Center, was a diner-like place for attendees to sit down and unwind. VMware went with the "Roadside Stop" theme because the VMworld 2010 tagline was "Virtual Roads. Actual Clouds."

Before the show began, there was some concern that VMworld was turning into a cloud conference, but there was still plenty of virtualization talk throughout the week.
