Vblock Infrastructure Packages and private clouds

Vblock Infrastructure Packages are preconfigured bundles of servers, storage, networking, virtualization and management designed to help organizations quickly create private clouds.

The Vblock Infrastructure Packages come from the Virtual Computing Environment coalition, a Cisco-VMware-EMC partnership formed last year. (The three vendors have also collaborated on Cisco's Unified Computing System, another preconfigured appliance focused on virtualization.)

In this video interview from EMC World 2010 in Boston, two Virtual Computing Environment coalition executives talk about Vblock Infrastructure Packages and their role in private clouds. Hear from EMC senior vice president Dennis Hoffman and Cisco vice president Manjula Talreja.
