Vblock Infrastructure Packages and private clouds

Vblock Infrastructure Packages are preconfigured bundles of servers, storage, networking, virtualization and management designed to help organizations quickly create private clouds.

The Vblock Infrastructure Packages come from the Virtual Computing Environment coalition, a Cisco-VMware-EMC partnership formed last year. (The three vendors have also collaborated on Cisco's Unified Computing System, another preconfigured appliance focused on virtualization.)
